The Bit by Bit SJA Review | Goodbye Sarah Jane Smith | Part Two

It’s all come to this. A fantastic series! And a brilliant start to the finale, well most of it was. But here we go. Series Four has been brilliant so far. The performances in The Nightmare Man were wonderful, The Vault of Secrets was a bit rubbish but had some ok plot twists, Death of the Doctor was a wonderful story and surprising good script, The Empty Planet was a fantastic science fiction tale with amazing acting, Lost In Time was a brilliant people tale, with brilliant acting, and Goodbye SJS has been a brilliant story so far, even if the acting doesn’t quite fulfil series 4 standards.

Basically, this series has got SJA a fantastic reputation, for fine acting and fine stores. I hope this continues in series 5.

Today’s episode? Luke is back, Clyde is about to be fed to the stomach ‘cos he gets taken to the prison ship and Ruby White is taking control.

This is it, this is the finale, this is the work of Gareth Roberts and Clayton Hickman. This better be good. OOOH. Introduction. Is where Ruby White lives now really. Still. Loved the Empty Planet, got to be maybe the best of the series. Previously trailer. Badly put together. Still, only serves as a reminder. HERE WE GO!

Absorbing, eating, the souls of the planet. Take over the planet, and feed on the adventure, feed on the terror. Oh, Ruby. Rubbish telly in Ruby’s. Right, dinner’s ready. So just an overview review.

So what did I think? Apart from the fact the ending was a typical Sarah Jane one, it was very good. I’ll write an overview review about what I think of the story, the resolution, and whether it matched up to the rest of series 4.

But I can tell you now. That episode was brilliant. While the acting wasn’t TOP notch, it was still very good and the story was very good.

Roll on Series 5

SJA Will return in 2011….

Overview Review coming soon
